Robert Logan was born in 1943 in Brooklyn New York, to parents Josephine and John Logan.  He attended Grady Vocational High School and graduated from there in 1960.  In 1963 Bob married Josephine, and they have two children, Patricia and John, and three granddaughters and one grandson. Hailing from Dumont, New Jersey, Bobby and his bride, Josephine, have recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Bobby started out as a mechanic in the world of automotives at General Motors, Cadillac Division Dealership, which eventually became Potamkin, in Manhattan.  During his time spent in Manhattan he worked his way up to Class “A” Mechanic and served as a Foreman.
At the urging of his brother, Richard, Bobby went to work at a fledgling Logan Bus Company in 1982 and has helped to nurture the company from 20 vehicles to over 1,500.  He oversees the day to day operations of the garage, DOT Inspections, Preventive Maintenance Program and supervises the staff in two garages in Queens and two in Brooklyn.
In his spare time, Bobby likes to dine out, travel and follow Major League Baseball, being an avid METS fan.  He’s been known to roll a bowling ball down the lane and has maintained an average of 160 through the years.  You can also find him on the links for a round of golf occasionally.
Bob Logan joined the Society of Fleet Supervisors in 2001.  He attends meetings regularly and generously supports the activities and events of the organization.  We appreciate his continued participation in and support of the Society of Fleet Supervisors and we are glad he has allowed us to re-introduce him to his fellow members this month.
