Antonio Ceville

Our Member of the Month is Antonio Ceville, Shop Foreman for CDM Fleet Services, Inc. located in College Point, Queens, NY.

Tony is responsible for the oversight of six (6) mechanics and the dispatching and scheduling of their work which includes; engine installations, injection pump replacements, A/C repairs and all repairs associated with fleet vehicle maintenance.  Some of the Fleets that Tony and CDM have a relationship with are (but not limited to), Atlantic Express, We Transport, Stroehmann Bakery, Pacific Lawn Sprinklers and Amoruso Construction Co.  Tony has been employed by CDM Fleet Services, Inc. for nine (9) years.

Born in Panama in 1945, Tony attended St. Vincent High School in Panama and graduated in 1963.  He later moved to the United States when he was 21 years old in 1966 and took up residence in Queens, NY.

Tony's career in the automotive industry dates back to 1971 when he was hired by Universal Ford in Long Island City as the Parts Manager.  After Universal Ford he moved on to Manhattan Ford and then La Fres Ford concluding a thirty (30) year run with Ford.

In 1993, Tony married his wife, Carmen, and they have four (4) children of which they are very proud.  Tony & Carmen’s son, Tony, is in the U.S. Army in recon in Afghanistan, their son, Michael, is a student in the Officers School at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. Their son, Eric, is a student at Brooklyn Academy High School and their daughter, Tiffany, attends St. Francis of Assisi School.

Tony coaches Little League Baseball and in 1993 took his team to the Santa Domingo Baseball Tournament and took 1st Place.

Tony has been an active Member of the Society since 2007.
