Our Member of the Month is Associate Member Sal Azzariti, President of Suffolk Auto Glass in Islip Terrace, NY. Sal oversees the glass work for 15 mechanics and six mobile trucks in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx. Sal along with his father opened up Clear View Glass located in Delaware and services Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Clear View Glass has been in operation for four years.

Suffolk Glass has been dedicated to providing their customers with superior service and outstanding workmanship for the past 24 years in the same location.  Their highly qualified technicians and courteous staff are extremely knowledgeable and always helpful.  They combine the best materials with cutting edge technology to provide the best installation possible.

Suffolk Auto Glass is a family owned and operated business serving the community with all their glass needs. Their Auto Glass department replaces glass and tinted windows in cars, vans, trucks, and selected boats.  They can expertly detect and reseal water leaks and also replace power window motors and repair small rock chips in windshields when possible.  On vehicles with glass coverage, they will handle all the paperwork and bill the insurance company directly so there is no hassle for the customer.

They also have a Plate Glass department that does both residential & commercial work.  They specialize in storefronts, mirrors, mirrored closet doors, tabletops, beveled glass, custom frameless shower doors, tub enclosures, storm windows and screen & patio doors.  They also tint windows and have 24-hour emergency board-up service.

Sal was born in West Islip, NY in 1971 and graduated from West Islip High School in 1990. He attended Stony Brook University and graduated in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. While at Stony Brook, Sal was on the baseball team for four years.

Married to his wife, Stephanie, since 1998, they have four children – Paige, 8, Sophie, 6, Domenic 3, and Anthony, 1. The Azzaritis reside in West Islip, NY.

Sal enjoys tinkering with classic cars and coaching softball for his daughter. He is a board member of the West Islip Little League.

A recently new Member of the Society, Sal joined in October of 2008. He has stepped forward help and currently chairs the Journal Committee.
