This month we have an Associate Member, Mitchell Clark, Sales Manager for Action Tire of Maspeth, NY as our Member of the Month. He oversees the commercial accounts for Action Tire in the tri-state area. Action Tire operates a fleet of eight trucks for pick up and delivery and road service. Prior to Action Tire, Mitch was the Sales Manager for South Shore Tire and Rubber from 1989 - 2001.
Born in New York City in 1957, Mitch was raised in Brooklyn and Staten Island. He graduated from Port Richmond High School in 1975 and received his Bachelor of Science from Baruch College in 1980.
Mitch and wife Barbara have been married since 1996. They have a daughter, Rachel, 6 and a stepdaughter Ashley, 16. The Clarks reside on Staten Island, NY and Milford, PA. Mitch enjoys skiing, reading, swimming and is also a music enthusiast during his off hours. He is a board member of the Executive Homeowners Association and active as an assistant Scout Master with Troop 448 of the Boy Scouts of America in Brooklyn.
Mitch has been around the Society for quite some time now even though he only became an Associate Member in 2004. He is a second generation Member in the Society as his father, Shelly, was also a past Member. Mitch has been active in the Special Activities Committee helping out each year on the Kiddy Picnic and Golf Outings.
